How to make the Fish extender, need at least 5 pockets!

I did a search of the boards and couldn't find a "pattern" for a homemade fish extender. Anyone have a pattern they could share, preferably one with 5 or 6 pockets? Thanks!!!!

Not aware of any "pattern". Sometimes crafty people figure out how to make one and post the instructions on how they made theirs. Others order one from ebay. I can tell you how I made mine. I went to Yankee One Dollar store and they had three pocket kitchen organizers (quilted like a pot holder)that were the correct width. I bought 2 ($1 each). I cut the top off one and the bottom off the other and sewed them together to create 5 pockets. I then covered each pocket with Disney fabric, ironed on a patch (pirate and princess) on each pocket, used iron on letters for names and added ribbon for edging and the hanger. I've seen others who buy a small canvas sack for each person and sew them together. I can't wait to deliver treats and see all of the unique FEs that people made.

LOL! That's exactly what I'm planning on doing! I have to choose between the cow print and the coffee pot!!
I'm going to buy the Disney fabric first, then see which colour goes the best....
